This 1927 cottage is located just a few blocks from the historic plaza in downtown Sonoma. The previous owner had received an award for historic preservation of the exterior, but the interior needed to be up-dated. The new owner had us completely redesign the master bedroom suite, living room, dining room and kitchen, including bumping out into the backyard for a new breakfast nook. She also wanted to add a pool and accessory structure to the property including a garage and guest bedroom. A simple landscaping concept helped transform this new work into an outdoor living room between the 2 buildings.
We always enjoy working with Christine Curry for interior design. Working closely with the owner, she seamlessly integrated traditional and contemporary finishes and furnishings into this historic gem of a home!
